Great stein, be careful!

The stein itself is beautiful! Very well-made, feels sturdy: is not a Dang-It. The Dang-It is in the care instructions: it's not microwave-safe. The trim at the top and base of the stein are reactive to microwaves, and sparked significantly within seconds of attempting to heat the contents. I'd recommend the stein, hands-down, just don't leave it unattended in your microwave or you'll be having a Dang-It of your own.
